Zakynthos (Zante) port
The port of Zakynthos is the main port of the island and connects the island with Killini in the Peloponesse. There are at least 4 daily ferry routes from and to the island operated by local ferry companies. Ferry itineraries increase during the summer months and the journey is approximately 1 hour. The island can also be reached by bus from Athens. From the main suburban bus station KTEL there are 4 daily scheduled itineraries to Zakytnhos island that will take you to Killini and then you will have to board on the ferry.
From Zakynthos island, you can also travel to the nearby island of Kefalonia. More specifically, from the port of Agios Nikolaos which is located on the northwest of the island, you can reach Pessada in the southern part of Kefalonia.
