Thessaloniki port
The port of Thessaloniki is just 500m from the city center away and can be reached very easily. Ferries from Thessaloniki travel to the Sporades islands (Skiathos, Skopelos, Alonissos, Skyros), to some of the Cyclades islands ( Tinos, Mykonos, Syros, Paros, Naxos, Santorini, Limnos, Mytilene, Chios, to some of the Dodecanese islands (Rhodes, Kos, Kalymnos, Leros, Patmos) to the Agios Ioannis port of Pilion, Volos, Piraeus (port of Athens) and to Heraklion in Crete. Besides the regular ferries, there are also flying dolphins. You should keep in mind that itineraries are subject to change and that they increase during the summer. The main entrances of the port are from Salaminos and from Kountourioti street.
