Rafina port
Rafina port is 30km east of the Athens city center and is actually the second most important port of Attica. It is the port that is closest to the Athens International airport. The Rafina port can be reached:
By car
By taking the "Attiki Odos" motorway, exit at Leoforos Marathonos and follow the signs to the Rafina port. The route is approximately 1 hour from Athens.
By bus
The suburban buses KTEL from "Pedio tou Areos" station in Athens depart to the Rafina port. The route is approximately 1 ½ hours and the frequency of the itineraries increases during the summer. Tickets can be bought at the spot or in the bus.
By suburban railway
By using the suburban railway you can take off at Pallini station and from there you can take either a local bus to the port or the suburban buses KTEL to Rafina.
From the Rafina port, there are daily itineraries to some of the Cyclades islands and to the island of Evoia. The ferry companies that operate itineraries to the Cyclades islands are:

- Ellinikes Aktoploikes grammes to Evia island in Marmari port
At the port, you will find a variety of car rental offices and many restuarants, cafes and snack bars. There is actually one gate from where the ferries depart from, due to the fact that the port is small.
