Paros port
Paros is one of the Cyclades islands and one of the most popular islands in Greece. The island can be reached either by plane, scheduled flight itineraries are more especially during the summer, or by ferry from the ports of Piraeus, Rafina and Lavrio in the wider area of Athens. There are both conventional and highspeed ferries travelling to Paros. Highspeed ferries can only carry passengers and not cars and usually don’t make any stops during the journey. The journey time of a highspeed ferry to Paros is approximately 2.5 to 3 hours, whereas the conventional ferry takes 4 to 6 hours from Piraeus port. The port of Paros is located in Paroikia, tha capital of the island. As soon as you arrive at the port, you are immediately found in the town of Parikia, so you don’t need to worry regarding transfer to the city. The suburban bus station KTEL of the island is located next to the port's entrance and there you will find a bus that will lead you to your destination anywhere on the island.
