Mykonos has 2 main ports: the old and the new port. The old port is used only for excursions to the neighbouring island of ancient Delos. The new port is a few metres away from the City of Mykonos. The number of ferries that anchor into in the port of Mykonos has dramatically increased during the last decade. 10 to 12 ferry boats anchor at the port of Mykonos daily between May and September. 2 or 3 cruise ships arrive daily in the port and 6 or 7 cruises anchor here during summer weekends. You can even travel to Mykonos by air. The frequency of itineraries and the price of tickets depend on the season.
