The ferry company Hellenic Seaways has been activated in the Greek seas from 1999. Hellenic Seaways itineraries serve the islands of North-eastern Aegean, South-eastern Aegean, Cyclades, Argosaronikos, Sporades and Crete. Its fleet is constituted by 32 ferries, 15 of which are conventional and 17 are highspeeds. Hellenic Seaways serves roughly 35 ports in the country. Children who are 5-10 years old are eligible for 50% discount. Familes with 3 children or more and pensioners (MARINE PENSION FUND) with their spouses are eligible for 50% discounts in ferry ticket for Economic Seats with Hellenic Seaways. The students are entitled for 25-30% discount depending on their final destination, while Hellenic Seaways offers 15% discount for reservations that will be booked at least 15 days before the departure (exclusively for itineraries on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays) In this offer the itineraries to Sporades, Saronikos and from Heraklion Crete to Cyclades are excluded.
• The passengers of Hellenic Seaways should be on port at least half hour before the departure of their ferry and in case that they transport their vehicle at least 1 hour earlier.
