Beaches to visit in Mykonos

Panormos and Agios Sostis
These beaches are located in the northern part of the island and are accessible by taxi or car. They are ideal for swimming and for surfing. You can find plenty of hotels and restaurants.
Agios Ioannis
It is a small beach, in the western part of the island with view to the island of Delos. It is one of the most graphic and attractive sandy beaches, with white sand. You can access it by bus, because schedules are very frequent. Although it is a popular beach, it’s never that crowded and you will always find deck chairs. Agrari
It is located in the southern part of the island and is one of the quietest beaches. Agrari is ideal for those who want to take some time off the noisy island and enjoy moments of relaxation. It is accessible by car or taxi, as well as by boat from Platis Gialos.
Ftelia
The fact that it is situated in the northern part of Mykonos, is the reason why this beach attracts more wind-surfing fans than sunbathers. You can go to Ftelia by car or taxi.
Kalafatis
This sandy beach is located in a wonderful landscape with spotless waters. It is well known due to the fact that it is the most suitable beach for wind-surfing. You can also find restaurants, which serve unique dishes with seafood.
Ornos
Ornos is an independent village located on the southern part of the island. You can find plenty of hotels, taverns, super-markets, and pharmacies. Ornos beach is the first one from the chain of beaches which exist in the southern part of Mykonos. This beach is ideal for families but it can also serve as excellent anchorage for ships. From here on you can access most of the remaining regions of the island either by bus, or by taxi or caiques (small boats).
Paradise
It is one of the most famous beaches of the island, known since the Hippies. There is a variety of activities and comforts, such as beach-bars, water sports, a diving center and discos. Nudism is allowed. There are frequent bus schedules, as well as small boats that transport the visitors, from Platis Gialos.
Platis Gialos

Psarou
It is a sandy beach in the south-western part of Mykonos, near to the bus station of Platis Gialos. Psarou is a unique and very well organized beach where you can also find hotels, restaurants, deck-chairs, as well as a diving school.
Super Paradise
Super Paradise is the most popular beach of Mykonos. This beach is actually ideal for the fans of parties, who love frantic amusement, the eccentricity, the nudism. It is a place where you can meet gay as well as VIP people. If you want to live a unique experience of entertainment without limits, do not miss it. You can access Super Paradise either by privately-owned means or by boats from Platis Gialos.
Agios Stefanos
Agios Stefanos, a family-oriented beach, is located on the southwest of Chora. There is a great variety of hotels, restaurants and cafeterias. You can arrive there by car, taxi or bus.
